Training Waiver & Health Disclaimer

Please read this carefully before you start training with Who's Next Boxing & Performance. It explains the risks of exercise and your responsibilities. A binding waiver and health questionnaire are completed when you join as a client through Trainerize — this page is a plain-English summary of what you’ll be agreeing to.
1. Get medical clearance first
Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise or nutrition program — especially if you have or have had a medical condition or injury, are pregnant or postpartum, are new to exercise, or take regular medication. If your doctor advises against any activity, follow their advice over anything in your program.
2. You take on the risks of training
Physical exercise — including boxing-style and strength and conditioning training — involves inherent risks, including muscle strains, sprains, other injuries and, in rare cases, serious injury or aggravation of existing conditions. You take part voluntarily and accept those risks.
3. Coaching is delivered online
Coaching is provided remotely through the Trainerize app. We cannot physically supervise you or correct your technique in real time. You are responsible for:
- training in a safe space with suitable, well-maintained equipment;
- performing exercises with good technique and within your ability;
- warming up and cooling down appropriately; and
- stopping immediately and seeking medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, breathlessness or are otherwise unwell.
4. This is not medical advice
Coaching, training programs and any nutrition guidance are general fitness guidance only. They are not medical advice, physiotherapy, psychological or dietetic advice, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give honest, complete and current information about your health and fitness.
- Tell us promptly if your health, injuries or circumstances change.
- Train within your own limits — you know your body best.
6. Release and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you participate at your own risk and release Who's Next Boxing & Performance and Jahzia Puohotaua from liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in the coaching or training, except where it results from our negligence or cannot be excluded by law.
7. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
8. No guaranteed results
Results vary from person to person and depend on factors including your effort, consistency, starting point and individual circumstances. We can’t and don’t guarantee specific outcomes.
9. Acknowledgement
By joining and training with us you confirm that you have read and understood this disclaimer and accept these terms. The binding version is agreed when you sign up as a client in Trainerize.
